Our History
Lowen Air Conditioning has been a family name you can trust in Palm Beach County for 50 years. In 1971, Jack Lowen started the company with his son Ron. They worked tirelessly to serve their customers’ needs over the years. In 2020, Ron Lowen retired from the company and passed the torch to another veteran of the HVAC industry, Phil Viruso. He entered the industry in 1986 and started his first HVAC company with his father in 1995 in western NY. Phil took the business over in 2003 and eventually sold it in 2014, when he and his wife Dawn had had enough of the long winters and decided to move to the Sunshine State. That is when they met Ron Lowen, and they hit it off immediately; realizing they shared many life interests along with a strong set of core values. And so, Lowen Air Conditioning continues with a new family into its 6th decade, with deep roots in tradition while leveraging all the technology of the 21st century to give our customers a premier experience.
Although a new family is at the helm as our company enters its sixth decade, the underlying philosophy has remained unchanged. We're still all about family, employees, and customers. We still focus on listening to your needs and making sure you're 100 percent satisfied.
